We regularly adjust our class offerings based on public and member interest.  If you are interested in a class we don't offer, let us know and we might be able to offer one in the future or recommend another club or place that offers it. The classes we usually offer include:

PUPPY PLAY & LEARN

For puppies 8 to 14 weeks old (and older small breed puppies if space allows.) This class will help you raise a behaviorally healthy, well-mannered companion through safe and fun learning opportunities during your pup's critical early socialization window. Learn how to train your puppy while sharing positive experiences and building a close bond. We will play learning games that teach your puppy basic skills and you will learn to fix simple problems and protect against future problems. This structured class meets 50 minutes a week for 7 weeks and is limited to 8 puppies.  $125

BEGINNING BASIC MANNERS

For dogs 4 months and older. Learn fundamentals of good dog manners - sit, down, stay, come, polite greetings, walking, and "leave it" while developing a love for learning with your dog. This structured class 50 minutes a week for 7 weeks and is limited to 8 dogs.  The first session of this class is for people only, dogs start at the 2nd class.  1 hour per week for 7 weeks, limited to 8 dogs.  $125

 

ADVANCED MANNERS / CANINE GOOD CITIZEN PREP

Graduates of Basic Manners will further refine their skills through more exercises designed to strengthen and improve your dog's good manners and basic skills while working on the skills needed to pass the AKC “Canine Good Citizen” test. 50 minutes per week for 7 weeks, limited to 8 dogs.  $125

 

NEW CLASS!!!! CIRCUS DOGS

Graduates of Basic Manners and Advanced Manners will have a grand time learning circus inspired tricks and choreographed group maneuvers using fun props.  We'll be clowning around with our dogs while they learn some advanced skills under the guise of running away to join the circus!  50 minutes per week for 7 weeks, limited to 8 dogs.  $125

 

Novice 1: INTRO TO COMPETITION

Graduates of Advanced Manners/CGC will learn and practice the skills needed to compete in Novice level Rally and Beginner Novice level Obedience.  Skills will be broken down and practiced to assure acquisition and handler understanding.  After completing 2 or more sessions of this class, dogs should be able to move onto Rally run thrus or Novice 2: Comp. Jump Start.  50 minutes per week for 7 weeks, limited to 8 dogs.  $125

 

Novice 2: COMPETITION JUMP START

For graduates of Novice 1: Intro to Competition.  The Novice level Obedience exercises and Rally Advanced skills will be broken down into components and chained to more complex behaviors in this structured class.  Dogs will learn to merge behaviors, e.g. "watch & heel" and will begin the transition from on leash to working off leash.  50 minutes per week for 7 weeks, limited to 8 dogs.  $125

 

Novice 3: ADVANCED COMPETITIVE OBEDIENCE

For dogs that have successfully completed Novice 2: Competition Jump Start.  Off lead only.  Fine tuning for the Novice level Obedience ring.  Introduction to the individual events required for the Open level.  1 hour per week for 7 weeks, limited to 8 dogs.  $125.

 

RALLY

Practice intermediate obedience skills while building teamwork and communication through this fun and exciting dog sport. Participants get coached on the Rally exercises while working through 2 different Rally courses each week as prep for competition or just for fun. Drop in/ informal class meets for 2 hours once a week. $60 for 4 sessions.

 


CONFORMATION

For dogs competing in conformation shows. Dogs will get positive conditioning to the ring and the physical exam.  Handlers practice common ring patterns and procedure, stacking and presenting as well as understanding and conditioning for breed specific qualities.  1 hour per week.
